Commissions:

Every year, I produce many pieces of work to commission.  You don't need to be a great designer to have something made – just bring me your ideas and thoughts, and we can have a chat about the possibilities, timescale and price. 

Things you might think about beforehand include

• size
• overall design or pattern
• type of metal (I work in mainly in silver, but also use various carats of gold, and sometimes copper)
• colour (I have a selection of semi-precious stones for you to choose from, and also work with enamel on occasions)

Repairs:

It is often possible to repair much-loved items of jewellery or silverware.  I am happy to assess broken or damaged pieces, and to advise on whether they can be restored.  I often return repaired jewellery by post, using Royal Mail's Guaranteed Delivery – so you do not have to live in Mull to use this service. (Please note, however, that I do not specialise in the setting or repair of precious gemstones.)
